The regular monthly meeting of the Pecan Grove Municipal Utility District was held at the Pecan Grove Community/Administration building on the evening of July 31, 2023. The next meeting is scheduled for August 29, 2023, in the PGMUD Community/Administration building at 3:30 p.m.

Parks Report
A fallen tree in Pecan Grove Park has been removed. The first stationary workout fixtures at the West end of the Park was authorized at the meeting.
The Levee walking trail has been redressed with additional material. New kiddie cushion has been installed and sand added to the volley ball court at Windmill Park and at Pecan Grove Park.
Operator’s Report
July 2023 testing showed that the drinking water system met the state and federal compliance standard for disinfection and there were no permit excursions for the month in wastewater.
At the Surface Water Treatment Plant (SWTP) the purchase and repair of the level transmitter for the clearwater mixing chamber is complete. The parts are on order for the SWTP backwash strainer with an early fall completion. The bleach pump replacement at the SWTP has been received and is being installed. The PAC pump has been received and installation has been scheduled. The compressor for the A/C in the rear MCC has been replaced while the compressor for the skids has been delivered and is awaiting installation.
At the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) the sludge pump VFD cabinet cooler repair is complete. The replacement chlorine scales have been ordered.
The #1 pump at Lift Station #2 has been replaced.
The repair of the South Storm Water Pump Station Pump #4 is in process.
At the SWTP, the sludge thickener will be repaired or replaced; the A/C in the administration building will be replaced; the LAS pump will also be replaced.
The program to replace high usage meters in the district has completed replacement of 1,105 meters this year.
