The Club at Pecan Grove
September 17th the new golf carts were delivered. There were over 980 guest golf rounds played in August. Repair work is continuing slowly on the golf course irrigation system on Grove. The work on the greens is continuing including fumigation for nematodes. The Grove course is behind schedule, but the plan is to overseed the greens with winter rye so they will be playable in November. Rebuilding of the greens will start again in April. Repair of the irrigation on the Plantation course should begin in October, but the repairs on that course itself will not begin until next April. The member guest tournament on September 26 and 27 was a big success and sold out weeks in advance. Yoga has really been growing with a lot of new participants.
Remember that key-card access to the pool, workout room, and tennis courts is now required. Cards can be purchased at the MUD office.
