PROJECTS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
WWTP Belt Press Replacement
Project includes replacement of the belt press and corresponding electrical components at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Funding: Operating Funds.

Electrical Improvements at District Lift Stations
Project includes electrical improvements at District lift stations. Funding: Operating Funds. Notice to Proceed issued May 21, 2026. Total contract time: 330 days. Contractor is awaiting material delivery prior to mobilizing.
South Pump Station Headwall Improvements and Redundant Gate Closures
Project includes modification of the concrete headwall at the south pump station and installation of sluice gates on the upstream end of the box culvert connection through the levee. Funding: Bond Issue No. 19. Construction contract was awarded in June 2026 to MC2 Civil. District executed contracts.
Club Facilities – Tennis Court Electrical & Lighting Improvements – COMPLETE
Project included electrical and lighting improvements to serve the tennis courts at Club facilities. Funding: Operating Funds. McDonald Municipal & Industrial The Board approved Pay Request No. 6 & Final ($5,000.00). Project is complete. Buckson is coordinating with the manufacturer to replace all lights under warranty.
PROJECTS UNDER DESIGN & BIDDING
Water Distribution and Wastewater Utility Extension along Brandt Road
Project includes installation of a waterline and sanitary sewer line along Brandt Road. Funding: Operating Funds. Plans have been approved by all agencies. The Board approved the PILOT agreement with Esteem AI Ventures, and the Engineer is authorized to advertise the project for construction.
Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Improvements to Serve The Club at Pecan Grove
Project includes rehabilitation of drainage and sanitary sewer lines within the Club facility. Funding: Bond Issue No. 19. Project has been advertised for construction. Bids are due in August and will be presented to the Board at the August 2026 meeting.
Reclaimed Water System and Conveyance Line
Project includes design and installation of a Phase 1 water effluent reuse system, including discharge piping to connect to the pond at the intersection of FM 359 and Plantation Drive. Funding: Bond Issue No. 19. Advertising commenced in July 2026.
Bids will be opened August 19, 2026 and presented to the Board at the August meeting.
Storm Sewer & Pavement Repair – Wren Meadow Lane
Project includes repair of a failed storm sewer lead and associated pavement displacement at 2307 Wren Meadow Lane. Funding: Operating Funds. Project has been advertised for construction. Bids are due in August and will be presented to the Board at the August 2026 meeting.
OTHER ENGINEERING ITEMS
Over-Conversion Credits (OCC) – Brays Bayou Generating Offer
Brays Bayou Generating (BBG) requested that the District consider selling 9.54 million gallons (MG) of over-conversion credits at $3.00 per 1,000 gallons for the 2026 permit year. The District’s most recent sale was at $3.75 per 1,000 gallons. BBG is also compiling an offer for a larger purchase and/or a multi-year agreement for future consideration.
The Board authorized Board Member Julie Huber to work with the Engineer on negotiations with BBG, and directed the Engineer to counter with a price of $3.00 per 1,000 gallons for Series B credits and $4.00 per 1,000 gallons for Series A credits.
PILOT Agreement – Esteem AI Ventures (Brandt Road, 4.4 Acres)
Esteem AI Ventures submitted an executed PILOT agreement along with additional project renderings. The Board approved the PILOT agreement, allowing the Brandt Road water distribution and wastewater utility extension to proceed to advertisement.
Fort Bend Levee Coalition
Pecan Grove MUD is an active member of the Fort Bend Levee Coalition (FBLC), with Odyssey attending meetings on the District’s behalf. The Coalition presented options for the District to consider regarding the direction of the organization. Given the critical role levees play in protecting Pecan Grove, Odyssey recommended the District vote in favor of Option 4. The Board discussed the FBLC options, authorized a voting representative, and provided direction for that representative.
