PGMUD Meeting of February 22, 2022
The regular monthly meeting of the Pecan Grove Municipal Utility District was held at the Pecan Grove Community/Administration building on the evening of February 22, 2021. The next meeting is scheduled for March 29, 2022 in the PGMUD Community/Administration building at 5:30 p.m.

In Pecan Grove Park, the new sidewalk to the benches around the pavilion was completed. Vitec bushes at the signage have been replaced. A proposal for an additional sidewalk from the playground to the road is under study. The agreement for renting the PGMUD Administration/Community Building was presented and generated considerable discussion and was accepted with minor adjustments.
GFL Environmental Inc.
David Selesky and Tony Emilio from GFL Environmental Inc. (which bought Waste Management, our garbage service) introduced themselves and expressed their commitment to providing Pecan Grove with excellent trash hauling service. They presented statistics for January that showed that for January that of 57,546 individual container collections for the month there were only 11 issues and only 6 missed pickups reported for Customer Service Success rate of 99.981%. They left their contact information and asked that residents continue to report problems so that they can be corrected.
Operator’s Report for January 2022
All water quality tests were found to be in compliance for the month of January. The SWTP GAC pumps have been delivered with one installed and one in the installation process. The chlorine dioxide generator at the SWTP has been repaired and is working well. The gate for the Main Channel access has been repaired and the “No Motorized Vehicles” signs have been installed along Bullhead Slough. We added 5 email subscribers (now 3,846) with 4,052 text subscribers.
