The District’s Operator, EDP, started emergency operations this at about 4:00 a.m. this morning, Monday, April 18. The District has received several calls from customers about street flooding. EDP is patrolling the neighborhood to remove debris in storm sewers in addition to other emergency preparedness measures. Oyster Creek is high; therefore, the District activated the north storm water pump station. We have several lift stations with high levels and high flow rates from storm water infiltration.

We are addressing the situation and monitoring flows. The EDP call center will be emergency operation until it is safe for our neighborhood. Currently we have 7 field personnel out in the District working on emergency preparedness. The South pump station is ready for operation should it need to be turned on. Stay tuned for additional information as we have it. Keep in mind, our first priority is safety not posting information to the website, but we will post updates as we can to help inform the public throughout the day.
