Santa is coming to town to ride on the Fire Truck!!! He will start his tour through the neighborhoods at 8am. Santa and his helpers will be on two trucks going through Pecan Grove, Waterside Estates, Harvest Green and Plantation Place. We will be keeping everyone updated on our locations throughout the day on our Facebook page.

Note: This year, due to safety concerns, we will NOT be entering cul-de-sacs. Please come down to the front of your street.

Notice of Public Hearing on Tax Rate

The Pecan Grove Municipal Utility District will hold a public hearing on a proposed tax rate for the tax year 2018 on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. CDST at the Pecan Grove Plantation Country Club located at 3000 Plantation Drive, Richmond, TX 77406. Your individual taxes may increase or decrease, depending on the change in the taxable value of your property in relation to the change in taxable value on all other property and the tax rate that is adopted.

The following table compares taxes on the average residence homestead in this taxing unit last year to taxes proposed on the average residence homestead this year.

Notice of Taxpayers’ Right to Rollback Election

If taxes on the average residence homestead increase by more than eight percent, the qualified voters of the district by petition may require that an election be held to determine whether to reduce the operation and maintenance tax rate to the rollback tax rate under Section 49.236(d), Water Code.
